'Dust Bath'

This is a painting of an elephant taking a dust bath. The painting took approximately 30 hours to complete and was based on a photo taken in the Timbervati, South Africa.
'Raging Bull'

This painting took me approximately 50 hours to complete and is of a charging bull elephant with a torn ear captured on camera from the back of an open-top landrover in the Timbavati, South Africa.
'Stealth'

This painting took me in excess of 60 hours (on and off) an is of a male leopard's face. The painting is an amalgamation of a few photographs taken of different leopards.

This painting took me approximately 40 hours and is of a female leopard I managed to photograph whilst in the Kruger National Park, South Africa.
'Big Boy'

This painting took 30 hours to complete and is of a white rhino captured on camera in the Pilandsburg Game reserve. I named him after the Union Pacific steam locamotive nicknamed 'Big Boy'.
'Elephant at Dusk'

This painting took 30 hours to complete and is of a fairly young bull elephant photographed at dusk in Etosha Game Reserve, Namibia.
'The White'

This oil painting took me 25 hours and originally started off as a dolphin (from a friend's photo). I then deceided to change it into a white shark.
'Joao'

This painting took me approximately 25 hours and is of 'Joao', one of the 'Magnificent Seven' big tuskers that roamed the Kuger National Park. It is believed that he was killed by poachers as his impressive 2.7m long left tusk was never found.

This painting is of a young bull elephant with Kilimanjaro in the background. It took me roughly 20 hours to complete and was taken from a photograph supplied by a client after visiting the Serengetti.

This painting of a male silverback gorilla took roughly 20 hours to complete. I named him Geoffrey.

This painting is of a Cape Robin-Chat. I painted this whilst living in the Namib Desert, Namibia and it took me 10 hours to complete.

This painting took me 15 hours to complete the original. I wasn't happy with the outcome, so Canvas printed it and re-worked the painting. It is based on a photo I took from a boat in Lake Kariba.
'Baby Giraffe'

I painted this baby Giraffe off an old phto I had lying around and in a much looser style, which was fun. It took approimately 15 hours to complete.

This painting of a crocodile feasting on an animal carcas in the Zambezi River was from a photo I took about 10km West (upstream) of Chirundu.

This is a painting of Letaba II. Although not one of the 'Magnificent Seven', he was one of the great big-tuskers that roamed the Kruger National Park. Sadly he was also killed by poachers.
